the longer length is idea for the bigger person.the shorts are of a very good quality
these were perfect , good fit not to tight on my legs as i suffer with lymphedema, they were perfect very comfortable to wear
I wanted some longer shorts for schlomping around the house, that were light and comfortable with plenty of room around the crotch area and these fit the bill. I may have gotten away with a size smaller, but then maybe I wouldn't have got the comfort I craved. I was happy enough to buy a second pair.
